Basketball - Boys Var

Dear Coaches & Friends,



Thank you for your support of the ³More Than a Game² Event, which will be

held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Seward Park.



Nike and UMCA have been informed of an IHSA rule stating that teams may not

travel together during the summer months. We respect and abide by the rules,

and for this reason, we will unfortunately no longer be able to provide bus

transportation from the schools.



Please note that the ³More Than a Game² Event is open to the public, and if

students would like to provide their own transportation and attend as

private members of the community we would be happy to see them at the event.



Nike will still provide transportation from participating churches and

community centers as previously discussed.



I have called many of you this morning and left voicemails, but I am sending

this email in an effort to make sure that we reach everyone in a timely

manner.
