Cheerleaders Excel at UCA Cheer Camp
Your Hales Spartan cheerleaders did their squad and the school quite proud in their performance at the UCA Cheer Camp, July 29-31, 2009 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Their list of achievements includes ...
*Being voted Camp Leader by the other 12-15 teams attending camp, and being awarded a plaque and their very own team Gatorade bucket
*Winning a Camp Champ trophy for outstanding performance in the final camp competition
*Winning "Superior" trophies and ribbons for their cheer and Xtreme Routine performance
* Winning their Spirit Stick all three days of camp
Pictures from camp will be posted shortly. The team is also looking forward to their trophies being added to the display cases once they're reinstalled.
So if you happen to run into a cheerleader, give him/her a Spartan High Five for being "superior" athletes and ambassadors for Hales. Throughout camp, they had EVERYONE yelling our battle cry . . . "Hales, Yeah" -- you should too!
